Introducing Marlowe Andree

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes in response to JoelsGirl's post that I'd had my baby and thanks to JoelsGirl for being such a great buddy and answering so many questions for me!

Marlowe narrowly avoided an induction (scheduled for Monday, the 29th) and arrived in her own time on Sunday (her due date) only 4 hours after getting to the hospital and with only 15 minutes of pushing.  It was a really great birth and I kinda feel like I cheated!   I did get desperate on Saturday and got accupuncture done, so who knows if that's what put me into labor or at least helped me along.

She's been an excellent baby so far, and we're both recovering really well.  I feel like a full-fledged member of the atlanta bumpies now that I have my  very own outside baby!
