"Let's make a baby tonight"

says DH, totally serious

me: You really want to make a baby? I thought you wanted to wait. We have no money, our LO is very hard right now, etc....

him: I wanna get all this crying stuff out of the way

me: um....

he's literally waiting for me in bed and I am sort of in shock. I don't think we are ready and even though I got very upset the other day over wanting a baby, I just don't think it's the right time. But a (tiny) part of me is veeery tempted to go in there and just see what happens.....

ETA: I realize we wouldn't necessarily "make a baby" tonight, it's just the expression he used...and I should add- he mentioned this while LO cried (no, screamed bloody murder) in the car the whole ride home.

    Well good for him for being able to see past the "difficult" stage and wanting more kids, I guess! DD is such a high maintenance baby that DH has gone from wanting 5 kids to DD potentially being an only child! It will be a LONG time before I those words come out of his mouth....

    DH also wants another baby so we can "get all this baby stuff out of the way". Not the way he meant it, but SOOOO not romantic either. DH wants the babies close in age, and he definitely enjoys G way more now that she is interactive and more independent.

    Pretty much the same here. I think my husband would run away if we got pregnant again! Reflux is a nightmare.
