(I'm visiting tonight..) I still EBF. DS has never had formula. I'm weaning off the pump right now, but it's a slow process. I have about 600 oz of frozen BM in the freezer, so DS will get BM a bit past his 1st bday.
As per American of Pediatrics recommendation, I hope to be able to BF for a year. I just really worry about finding the time to pump/keeping my supply up when I return to work, so we'll see how it goes
My goal is a year, but the summer & teething will be the true test. I'm EBF (pumping & bottles of bm also), and would like to keep it that way, if we can for a year.

I hope to go a year. I wanted to EBF for the first 6 months, but going back to work ended that hope. I still pump and nurse as much as I can, but I've had to supplement with formula to get through growth spurts. We'll see what happens. I think as long as you are getting LO BM you are doing the best you can!
AJplusKev: I'm super jealous! Wish we were all so lucky!
I did until 13 months with DD, but this time it will be more like 6-7 months since I have clinicals in the fall and I can't leave to pump. I also can't get anything when I pump now since DS eats so much, so I have no freezer stash.
We're still (at almost 7 weeks) having latch problems, and yesterday were diagnosed with thrush. I've seen three different LCs and all tell me different things to do. I'm at my wit's end, so last night I decided that I'll try it for two more weeks. He'll be 8 weeks at that point.
If miraculously everything is better in two weeks, then I'll keep EBF until he bites me.
A year, I think. I went 16 months with DD, because she wouldn't drink cow's milk once she turned a year. But BFing that long took a toll on me physically. My hormones were a mess. I had to wean and go on BCP to even start getting periods again and regulate my hormones. So I'm going to see how I'm feeling at 6 months, maybe go for a year, but probably not much past.
I BF'd DD1 until nearly 15 months. I actually wasn't quite ready to stop then, but she weaned herself during a bad bout of teething.
I plan to go at least a year with DD2, and from there, we'll see. I'd be willing to go up to 18 months if things are still going smoothly and she's interested.

Before giving birth I definitely wanted to bf until a year, EBF until six months. Unfortunately my body/baby had different plans. We have had every issue except mastitis since the beginning and I am still dealing with both of us having thrush, I have clogged ducts, low supply (she gets formula now too) and she doesn't stay awake/empty my breasts so I am pretty much only pumping at this point.
With all of this, I am taking one day at a time (aiming for 2 months, then will re-evaluate).
Re: How long did you/do you plan on BF?
Impressive!
I'm hoping for 6 months.

At least a year, possibly up to two. We'll just see how it goes.
One year is the plan.

As long as I can up to 1 year.
I'm pumping/bfing and have to supplement because I'm not pumping enough and don't have a freezer stash.
So if she's a biter, I'll stop then, but will pump as long as I can.
the first 4 weeks were HORRIBLE for me. But it got much better and I enjoy it now and have no pain.

DD1, 1/5/2008 ~~~ DD2, 3/17/2010
This exactly. But 6 months EBF no matter what!
DS: 13 months
DD1: 13 months (she was a biter at the end, and that is the only reason she was weaned.)
We will see with Gianna, but I anticipate about a year also.
