Can I just hose down a carseat?

I'm giving my sister our extra convertable carseat and it's been in storage for about a year.  Really dusty and lots of spiderwebs.  Can I just hose it down with a pressure washer and then clean it up or do I really have to get up close and touch it all gross and all.

    Can you remove the straps? Those are supposed to be spot cleaned because the fabric could stretch. And then the cover could probably go in the wash. Everything else you might be able to scrub down more aggressively.

    Maybe spray it first so it's not too yucky to deal with... and then you (or your sis) should disassemble it to properly clean it.

    I would disassemble it and then use the hose.
    Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.
