2nd Trimester

Anyone else feel movement low at 22 weeks?

I honestly can't remember with my first, but, now that I am feeling this one more and more, I realize I am feeling he/she more down low and always on one side more than the other.  I LOVE the feeling, but I'm just curious if anyone else noticed the same thing!

Re: Anyone else feel movement low at 22 weeks?

  • Yep, my baby is almost always kicking me low and on my right side. Every once in a while I'll feel something higher but it's rare.

  • Yes! He's always kicking me super low! Every now and then I'll get a few high movements (maybe fists or head?) but it's not very often I feel him up high. I'm guessing he's breech now...he was transverse a couple weeks ago.
  • My baby is also super low. The first movements were around my pelvic bone.

  • Pretty much all the movement that I feel is low.  Sometimes at night when I'm lying down I feel him mid-belly range, but never high.
  • I feel movement low and around the belly button level. It's harder to feel the low movements, unless she kicks my cervix, which is such an odd feeling!!

  • Low! Low! Low! ...and to the right. All the time, here. There is an occasional bump or kick in other areas, but the majority are low and to the right...and by low, I mean crotch almost to my hip-bone low. I had my big ultrasound last week and the baby was breech (big surprise) and positioned to support these sensations. The ultrasound technician kept commenting on how low I was carrying, which worries me a little. But, I have my doctor's appointment this week - hopefully I'll know if any of this is abnormal at that point.

This but my baby is head down so the low movements are his arms. I feel his kicks higher up around and above my belly button. Those make my whole stomach move.

  • I hardly ever feel her kick high.  It is always very low, I got all freaked out the first time I felt her kick at my bellybutton, lol!  I'm not sure why but I'm guessing it's just because they have so much room to move around still and that the legs are still down....
  • Yes. I can't remember with my first either, I definitely don't remember the cervix kicks. OMG, do those ever feel weird.
