vent-another co-worker!

Just found out that one of my good friends from work is pregnant. She told me today and also added that her and her husband only had sex 2X during the cycle and that they were trying to avoid by using the "pull out" method (which she admitted wasn't the best birth control method out there). She is upset because she said they weren't ready and feels she needed one more year to "have fun" before getting serious about starting a family. She is going around telling everyone it is her husband's fault and trying to laugh it off. She has no idea we've been trying for 9 months now. I wanted to slam my head on my desk. Just needed to vent to girls I knew would understand.... Hope everyone has a good weekend!

I'm sorry, that sucks. If she keeps it up maybe you can explain to her why you don't want to hear all about it? I don't know if you trust her enough, but if you do and she's really a good friend she should scale it back for you.

Thanks girls. I probably will tell her how I'm feeling if she does keep it up. My DH and I both agreed to keep the TTC news to ourselves because we don't want all the questions and I feel like every time another friend is pregnant they will weird around us. She is a good friend though so I'm hoping if I do talk to her about it that she keeps it between us. ugh...just one of those days!
