What are your favorite boy names?

I know this has been asked about a million times before, but DH and I really just don't see eye-to-eye on boy names. Of course, we had a girl name 100% picked out. Anyone care to share?

I love the name Cole, but DH doesn't like it. I also liked (but DH didn't) Davis, Connor and Chase. I like Chase Owen - I think it has a nice ring to it.

Our #1 pick up until the morning we got our big u/s (when I started questioning the middle name) was Miles Asher. We may still use Miles someday. Recently I decided that I like Hunter Miles a lot. (If you love it, don't feel like you can't use it... it'll be a while before we're in need of another baby name. Smile )

My number one unuseable boy name is Henry. My maternal grandfather was named Henry and he was a hot head and abusive, then his son, Henry Jr was a drug addict and is currently in jail - not the warm and fuzzy's you know? I wish it wasn't that way though because I love the way it sounds, and it's in a few of my favorite movies. Not enough to redeem it for me, but enough to make me wish I could use it.

DH and I never could agree on a boys name either. We both liked Logan but it was always towards the top of the popularity list. I liked Evan, but DH didn't. DH wanted to name a son Wolverine. Good thing we have girls.

If we have a boy, we're naming him Jacob. If we have a 2nd one down the line, we're pretty set on Ryan. I also really like the name Logan but DH wasn't as fond.

Micaiah is my favorite boys name - it's pronounced like Mikiah. It's a biblical name. I also love Peyton, Ayden, Brayden, Parker... I like the trendier boy names right now, but I'm sure that will change. We didn't find out the sex of the baby, but our boy name was Jackson Thomas, although when I went into the hospital I wasn't too terribly fond of the name. I don't know that it'll be on the table if we have another kid.

My unusable names are.... Jake, Jack, Ryan. Jake is H's cousin's name, Jack is my dirty uncle's name and I would never give him the satisfaction of using his name, and I'm not into the Jr thing since H's name is Ryan.

Tristen is obviously my #1 choice, and it has been since I was 16. I also Like Wyatt, Justin, Josh(ua), Maximus. But I think we'll have a hard time if we have another boy next time around.

We were scrambling around a little for a boys name after Jack was born. We had a ton of girls names that we liked but struggled for a boys name. We nearly went for Jacob but settled on Jack. I like older, biblical names.

My unusable name is Clark. I love the name but he would be tormented with superman jokes.

Our list was: Carter, Everett, Conner, Carson, Callum, Earl (DH's gpa). We had longer names for the most part since we have a short last name.

I also like Tyler, Joshua, Jackson, Dominick, Michael, Cohen, Caleb, Issac, Milo, Noah and Quinton.

So many of these names I love, but we can't use because of family: William, Henry, Owen, Neil/Neal, Liam (haha!), Andrew/Drew.

Then there's the ones DH doesn't like: Brady, Brayden, Oliver, etc.

Should this baby be a boy we are going to name him Porter James. Which is why I'm sure it's a girl because we can't agree on girl names, lol.

My favorite boy's name is Noah but TJ doesn't like it. Others I like: Caleb, Ethan, Evan, Ian, Liam (you could do JR! Wink ), Logan, Neil, and Owen.

We're still not decided 100% on our little boy's name yet! We also had a girl's name picked out and it was one that we'd talked about for years. Boy's names are so much harder!

Evan - we actually both love this name, but if you combine it with our last name, our son would appear to be named after a cheap (but popular) brand of whiskey. No can do.

Henry - my tribute to the great friend of ours who introduced us, and I just love the name, but DH not so much.

I love love love the name Elijah but my DH said no because he hates Eli Manning. Leave it to my husband to a)hate someone he doesn't know and b)bring it back to football! LoL

Names I like, but either DH doesn't or they don't go with our last name: Logan, Chase, Aidan, Connor, Harrison (as a middle name).

We actually have 2 tentative baby boy names selected for us, just in case, but I can't share until after we actually give birth (they are mostly classics).

I agree with CG that your last name should make pairing up a name easier than if it was a tricky name.
