I'm 7w5days. I have a son that is four and I had what I think was a great birthing but nevertheless painful experience. I went natural and he was 8lbs7oz. However I am terrified of giving birth again. Although I have a long way to go this is the only thing that I can think of.

I am at times. My epidural stopped working with DS, so I had contrations amplified by pitocin, a 2nd degree tear, the vaccum, and when the doc was doing my stitches the thread broke so he had to start over. It sucked.
But in a lot of ways I am less nervous then the first time. I have a pretty good idea of what to expect, and I know that I can get through it! lol

I'm not scared of birth. It's going to suck no matter what. I get another baby, so it's worth it.
I am afraid of after the birth. Pushing the uterus, healing, swelling, deswelling and stitches.
i'm not really scared, but lately i have been questioning what my motives really were to give birth naturally w/no epidural. i've kind of forgotten why i was so set on that. ... i'm sure i'll remember.
i'm excited for that wonderful moment where i meet my baby!!
i really hope i don't have to be induced again (although i think it was a fine/great induction). i was 2 weeks late. i just doubt i'll go into labor on my own any earlier this time (and my new midwife really doesn't like going a full 2 weeks late).

Nope. If this one goes anything like the last, I am really looking forward to it. My labor was intense, but short, and I loved pushing. And the rush afterward? Meeting my baby? So excited!
The only thing I'm a little worried about is this one being much faster. I was in labor with DS for 2hours. Much shorter than that, well, I just hope I get to the hospital in time. If I go into labor at work (a 10second walk to L&D), I'm afraid my DH won't get there in time.

Terrified. I pushed for 3.5 hours, they took my epidural away about a half hour into pushing, they finally used forceps, and I had a third degree episiotomy. They then tell me the problem was a short umbilical cord. I swore I would never have another child because I couldn't stand the pain again.
So, yes, I'm scared. But, I tell myself that it has to be faster and less painful this time.
I'm actually terrified too. My son was 8 lbs 4 oz and he was delivered vaginally with no drugs. I was induced and I dialated so quickly that I couldn't get the epidural. I had such an easy pregnancy, labor and delivery that I'm afraid I won't get lucky twice! Fingers crossed for the both of us! :-)

No, but my labor/delivery was relatively pain-free. (Yay for epidurals!). I am, however, dreading the recovery, as well as the baby-blues.
I am not scared about having another vaginal delivery bc everything was so textbook when I had DS. My water broke on its own, got an epidural when I arrived at the hospital, labored for 8 hours, and pushed for 20 minutes. Because my epidural worked so well, I had an almost pain-free delivery. It was peaceful and amazing. What does worry me though is that I am pg with twins this time. I know that c-sections are more prevalent in multiple pregancies so that makes me nervous bc I do not want to have a c-section. I also worry about that 1% of people that try to deliver twins vaginally and push the first one out and then are unable to get the second one out and end up having a c-section in addition!...Now that freaks me out!
I can totally understand you being scared though, especially if you went med-free (I am assuming that is what you meant when you said you went "natural"). I can only imagine how much pain you were in. I think it is totally normal to be apprehensive about something like delivery no matter how many times you have done it.
