  We always aim for as little as possible, but somehow we're getting a refund this year. I'm not complaining, as it's going straight to the Get Bugbear Into The World Fund, but I do always have that moment of "it would have been nice to have that over the course of the year instead..."

  Yeah - I way overpaid because last year we had to pay so much.  Between my bigger quarterly payments and all the tax breaks/reductions this year... yeah....

  Yea, of course the year we had to pay in majorly was incredibly sucky timing...  Fortunately, that is in the past.

  We're getting a BIG unexpected refund this year but we dropped into a significantly lower tax bracket so that probably helped. We're using it for DH's coming home Hawaiian vacation :-)

  Well, it helps when the IRS thinks that DH didn't make a dime last year due to being deployed but wouldn't you know that because he deployed Dec to Dec that we didn't even earn enough to qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit? 

  But, for 2008 we're getting a huge refund which hopefully we'll see in the next 6-8 weeks along with this year's.
