Today I am wearing jeans with the old rubber band trick. Almost all of my dress pants have metal bars instead of buttons so I can't do this, but with these pants it's working out well. I do feel a bit guilty though that I'm already not fitting into my regular clothes - I'm only 8 weeks! Today a trainer at the gym said "Oh, my other pregnant client fit into her clothes until she was 20 or 21 weeks. You shouldn't be experiencing that so early." I wanted to slap her and say that it's not my fault these cravings (i.e. for meatball subs and french fries) are so freakin' strong. They are strong, right? It's not just me using PG as an excuse - I swear my mind plays tricks on me - anyone else?

On another note, you probably shouldnt give into all those craving UNLESS they are litterally the only food you can get and keep down. I will only give in once or twice a week, and even then remember to temper that with what is good for you and your baby, not just your palet
Everyone grows differently. I was getting sorta sad about my pants not fitting comfortably anymore, but what are ya gonna do now? You can't go on a diet! So, I went shopping! Old Navy has these great cargo pants(non-maternity) that are elastic and low rise. They also can roll and cuff for capris! They fit me great now, I assume I can wear them through most of my pregnancy and still wear them after! New York and Co had these really great capris in black and grey too! Elastic waist that folded over. Another pregancy and post pregnancy pants!
Is your trainer a man or a woman? If female, ask her if she has kids? Don't let anyone make you feel bad!
