Kai is eating the guts of a chicken burrito... and he LOVES it... is it too late to start? I plan on just cutting out puree's and feeding him portions of what we eat...
I have not done a ton of BLW research, but here's what we are doing.
DD had pretty severe reflux so we started purees just after 4 months. Once she hit 6.5 months we started doing more finger foods, but I felt that she still needed some purees since she had gotten used to having a full solids meal twice a day. We're at 8 months now and DD prefers to feed herself anything she can. We give her a lot of stuff we eat and she loves to try new flavors and textures. But since she is still used to filling up with solids twice a day, I still feed her purees at each meal too, until she indicates she is done. I hope that helps a little bit, although I'm not sure it answers your question exactly.
