Don't get the plastic Crayola (Crapola) one from TRU. We got it, it wouldn't stay standing up and DD got stuck under it when it collapsed. Plus the alphabet letters were all too small, definately a choking hazard. There are other brands that sell the same one, just in different colors/characters/logo, etc., so keep an eye out. Make sure that the one you get is stable when assembled.

I'm thinking about the Melissa and Doug one.
The M&D one is great, but we went with one from IKEA, which is similar but costs less. We love it. I definitely prefer a wood frame easel to plastic!
