you dont see heartbeats on dopplers, you hear them. do you mean ultrasound or do you mean hear a heartbeat on a doppler?

You don't see the heartbeat but you can hear it at 11 or 12 weeks.

Do you mean "hear"?? I believe the very earliest would be around 9 weeks, but usually 10-11 is more common.

About 11 - 13 weeks or so although it can still be hard to find if baby is zipping around while you're at the doc.

Not sure what you mean. I had my first U/S today and it was a vaginal one. We saw the baby and heard the heartbeat. We are 6w 1d by U/S measurements.

Usually with a doppler you can hear a hb at 10 weeks. With an u/s, you can see it at 6 weeks.

I bought a doppler and found a heartbeat at 9 weeks. It's hard because your heartbeat is so much louder and easier to pick up. I'm 10 weeks now and can find it a bit easier. Was only 100 bucks to buy and worth every penny.

I was surprised that my doc was able to HEAR the HB with the doppler at 9 weeks exactly. I think it's usually close to 10-12 that you listen rather than SEE via u/s.

I had a dr. apt this morning and they tried to find the HB via doppler and couldn't. I had to go for an ultrasound to make sure everything was ok with the baby. THANK GOD it was. I was alone and freaking out!

Oh thank goodness all was ok! That is extremely scary! When we had our m/c I was alone at the Dr when he said he couldn't find a heartbeat and it was the worst experience!! But that was via U/S!

My doctor didn't try to hear it with the doppler til 11 weeks, and she was able to find it right away. Some people can hear it a little earlier, some people are out of 1st tri before it's possible. (because of anterior placenta, tilted uterus, etc.)

I heard my DS at 9.5 weeks and this one at 9 weeks exactly. But, my NP said my uterus must be in just the right position to hear it. Usually you can hear it between 10-13 weeks.
