Ours did not have the kind you add water too, they just had little 2 oz plastic bottles that fit the nipple right on them. But we used the bottles from my pump that I bought from the LC at the hospital.
They just asked who our Pedi was and said "Oh he prefers Similac.....so we'll try that and see if baby does well on it."...so that is why we used Similac for DS#1. I think the hospital had many different kinds available.
I had no clue since I wasn't planning on formula feeding....and the hospital sent us home with a few days worth so we didn't have to go out and buy any until after DS's first trip to the Pedi.

Don't buy or bring any, IMO. We had to switch quite a few times to find something DD did well on, so it may end up being a waste. Plus I hadn't planned on FF so I didn't think much about it in advance. Luckily they let you take home tons of extra formula!
They used Enfamil in our hospital, just the premade little bottles that nipples screw right onto. They have a ton though, so if your LO doesn't tolerate one well, they can try another.
