Dried Baby Wipes as Diaper Liners??

So I was reading a review for the bummis flushable liners and someone said they used dried up baby wipes and they were the same thing.  I was wondering if anyone else tried this and if it really worked?  We have a TON of wipes so this would be AWESOME!!!

Also, if you have tried the flushable liners, does it seem like it might be similiar?  Just wondering! ;-)

Re: Dried Baby Wipes as Diaper Liners??

  • our wipes say not to flush them, plus they would still have chemicals in them touching the baby that i would prefer to not have on there for the long-term.

the only time i use liners is for really bad rashes when we use desitin.

  • I use liners and to me they are very different from dried wipes.  But my suggestion is to save those wipes!  We use them after every meal (I keep a box in the kitchen now), especially since DD is now obsessed with eating yogurt with her hands - UG!

  • Thanks, and yeah I realized later how stupid that sounded.  We just have a TON of disposable wipes still.  And we do use the wipes at DS' mealtimes too as well as for diapering!  Thanks for the suggestion!
