My DS is content with 24-30oz of formula, two stage 2 jars a day mixed with cereal (fruit in morning, veggie in evening) and puffs or other snack through out day. Just want to see if most of you added in an extra jar or bigger one.
We tried to switch completely to table foods after her 9 month appt, but she was not a huge fan. Now we give her tastes of our meals, but she eats stage 3 food. I'm wondering when she will start going for table foods more. She loves her baby finger foods (cheetos, puffs, cheerios, etc.), but that's about it.
I have given him chicken nuggets & pastina..what other table foods have you tried?
He basically eats what we eat. No raw veggies or fruits (those are steamed or baked) unless they're soft like bananas. No peanuts, honey, or shellfish.
For example, if I have a hamburger then I break off pieces of mine and he has it, etc. I don't give him junk like french fries though.

Does Ryan have top teeth yet?
He has his 2 front teeth, but it doesn't matter. You don't chew with your front teeth, you chew with your molars (which babies don't have).
ETA: He just got those teeth and was eating table foods before them.
Jaslyn eats stage 3 foods since the consistency is chunkier but she's starting to eat a lot more table foods such as rice, soups, pasta, cut up cheese, yogurt steamed veggies and she loves apples. That's the only fruit she's tried besides bananas. She's tried other fruit but pureed/baby food.
She has been on table food only for a little over a month. She started refusing all baby food. After half the jar she would spit it in my face. She would inhale any table food though. I got sick of the mess so I just stopped buying it. I will shred up meats that we have, any soft veggies or fruit, cheese, etc. So far the only thing she doesn't like is baked potato. She loves chicken and beef roast.
My older 2 kids were still getting some baby food until about 10 1/2 months. It was about half and half baby and table food.
Soon after turning 10 months DD wouldn't eat the 1 & 2 foods b/c they were too watery. She wants stuff with more chunks. So we still have a cubbard full of stage 2's! We are trying to 'force feed' them to her until they are gone- lol
He's on Stage 3's and table foods. Table/finger foods have been a recent thing - since 9mo. I'm terrified of choking, so I make sure everything I let him self-feed with is finely diced. He eats just about everything we eat, his favorites are toast, scrambled eggs, and bananas (those are so easy to cut up). I guess he's into breakfast foods?

We are completely on table food right now.
Though, he'll eat applesauce still.
