How long can your LO hold it?

We have been focusing on potty training this weekend. Yesterday went really well, peed and pooped on the potty and only two little accidents.

Today has been great too, but DD has not peed or pooped all day! She woke up at 7:30am with a wet diaper. We spent the morning playing and taking potty breaks. She had no issues with sitting on the potty and would sit anywhere from 5-20 minutes reading books, doing puzzles, etc. But she has not gone to the bathroom! And she has had lots to drink and eat.

I just put her down for a nap (12:30) with a diaper on and I am sure she will go while sleeping .

Isn't 5 hours a long time for her to hold it?? If she was in diapers we would have changed a wet or poopy diaper at least once (if not more) in that same time period.

That seems like an insanely long time. DD can hold it about an hour, maybe longer if she's sleeping.

I'm not sure during the day... that seems like a long time. DD has woken up for 3 hour naps dry and has woken up dry in the morning once or twice.

That seems a little long but I know when we were trying to get a urine sample from DD, it took about 4 hours. And she has woken up in the morning with a dry diaper several times now. I'm sure she'll wake up wet but just make sure to give her lots of fluids this afternoon, just in case.
