DH is out of town for a month and MIL is here to help with Ada so I've been busy. I'll try to check in later this week.

Meanwhile, I thought you guys would like this: We took Ada to the beach today. She is terrified, and I do mean terrified, of the sand. It was really funny but also sad because she was so upset! We had to leave the beach and go back to the sidewalk where she was fine.

    ooohhhhh nooooo, that's a shame .... do you think she'll warm up to the idea ?  was it just her feet feeling weird in the sand or the whole idea of touching/sitting in the sand ?

     A client of mine told me today that it freaks them out the the sand gives way under them. I guess if you don't even know how to stand on your own yet that this would be kind of hard to navigate and wrap a tiny little young mind around. I figure when she's 14 we won't be able to get her off the beach and then we'll have some tales to tell!
