Brooks Alan flows better, but I like the first name Cole better. What about Alan Brooks?

I really like both. Brooks is less common, but Cole is less pretentious sounding and less like a girl name. I'm gonna go with Cole!

Cole. Brooke is a predominately female name now, and adding an s on the end will still probably get the little boy taunts now and then of, "That's a girl's name!"

Brooks sounds like a brother to Ryder. That being said, they both sound like cowboy hat wearing ranchers. That isn't necessarily a bad thing just what I see when I say those names. If you want to stay away from that go with Cole.
