    I really really love red zinfandel.  Not to be confused with white zinfandel.  Or a really good malbec.

    Chianti is my favorite.  Ecco Domani makes a surprisingly nice one.  I agree with the Shiraz though.

    Is "both" an option?

    Between those two, I like a cabernet.  If the whole world of red wines is open, I'd got with a Montepulciano or a Malbec.

    All of the above?  My vote is always for Pinot.  If you can find an Oregon pinot- bonus points.  I have yet to find one that wasn't delightful.

    THIS!  100%.Oregon Pinot's are to die for.  Willamette Valley makes a great Pinot.
