  Just warning...I've actually gotten pieces of the same Amy Butler that were really different in shading.  Like colors that were 50% lighter between pieces, so it might not just be the photos but the actual fabrics.

  Well that's disappointing.  It might be that way with this fabric since it's showing so many different shades.

  When I bought it they all looked the same online, but when the 2nd piece showed up there was no way I could use it with the first piece I had it was THAT different - the blue in the 2nd piece was more like a shadow/really faded compared to this picture which is what #1 looked like.  It was this fabric, so not even a colored background really:

  I've seen massive variance like the pp mentioned as well.

  Do you have a local quilting store? I think seeing it in person is really the only way to be sure sure of what you're getting.
