Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Graco Snap and Go /Snugrider question

DH and I are debating whether to keep it. We had to buy it b/c I did not get it as a shower gift ( that is not the big deal). Even if we got it as a gift I'm wondering if it is worth keeping because we also had to buy the travel system - Graco Metrolite - I did not get it at my shower either. LO is die 11/17 so I figure from that point until the end of February I'm not taking the baby out that much. I live in the suburbs with a car so I do not have to deal with public transportation and do not go to the mall that much. Do you think I shoudl return it? If you had the snap and go, how long did you use it with the infant car seat?

Re: Graco Snap and Go /Snugrider question

  • I didn't use it a lot because I mostly wear Emmy in the Ergo (Moby when she was smaller). If I could go back in time I don't think I would have put it on my registry.

  • Personally I have the snap n go and the metrolite and I use the snap n go more, I even used it when we went vegas and it was a breeze going through the airport. I won't use the metrolite stroller until my son can't use the snap n go anymore. My LO will probably be using his infant car seat & his snap n go for awhile since he is only 14 lbs @ 6 mos.
  • I would keep the snap n go and take back the travel system. I used the snap n go with DD until she was out of the infant car seat, and then moved straight to a lighter weight, smaller but nice umbrella stroller.

Even in the suburbs the smaller strollers are better IMO to fit through store aisles, take up less space in the car, etc.

  • I used it til she was about 4-5 months.  I really liked it and mostly used it for when I went to the mall or to the store (if I was only grabbing a few things).  Then we moved to our maclaran stroller.

I am 37 weeks PG now and really do not want to take back the travel system because it has the infant care seat we need to take LO home from the hospital. We also used out unexpired BBand Beyond Coupon on the travel system.

I have something similar .. the Bbayborjn ... but in the winter months I'm not sure it would work like your Moby? Do you agree?
