f/u to tax return

A while back I posted about spending our tax return before we got it (oops!) Well we STILL haven't - so DH called about it today. We've never waited more than 10 days - it's usually 7. Anyway...our tax guy f-ed up and 70+ of his returns were rejected and he couldn't figure it out..."software problem".

So our return was actually filed yesterday. Boo!

It's a good thing DH gets paid on Friday - I don't think Evan is ready for a diet of Ramen noodles.

Any Buffalo people have a good tax guy? We'll be shopping for a new one next year. This guy is old and weird anyway.

    That stinks!  You wouldn't have gotten your NY refund yet anyway- I filed in early February, and NYS is holding our refund check until April 2nd because of budget problems.

    That's strange!  I filed ours early-mid February and got our NY state refund a few weeks ago.

    Hmm...I heard they were keeping them until 4-2 as well. Maybe only some?

    I'm not sure if it was all checks, but I called the Dept. of Tax and Finance and they said ours was going out April 2nd, which is the start of the new fiscal year.

    We must have been one of the unlucky ones!
