movement.. to early??

in 2nd Trimester

 i'll be 16 weeks on tuesday. and the past couple nights when im relaxing i can feel like a little bumping bellow my belly button.and im posting because im feeling it now.

could that be movement? or is that to high to be the LO.  i thought i wasn't supposed to feel moving or kicking until 18 or 19 weeks, this is my first baby so  i dont know.

    Could be!

    If not, it's probably just gas, so nothing to worry about at least. Stick out tongue

    I felt the first movements at 17 weeks, although I wasn't sure until 20 weeks. Everyone is different, but it very well could be your LO letting you know they are there! Big Smile

    It could be. I started feeling our baby girl move around 16 weeks. it was really here and there though. Now it is waaaaaaay more intense and I know for sure she is moving! For me it felt like butterflies in my tummy, like when my DH and I were first dating and I would get that certain "flutter" every time I saw him or talked to him ;) Sometimes I would mistake it for gas bubbles tho.

     yeah it kinda feels like that butterflies or bubbles. i dont think its gas, bc usually when i have gas pain accompanies it.  maybe im just hoping it is the little one. :) i cant wait!!!!

    I felt one or two little pokes at 16 weeks but doubted myself, week 17 I felt one like every other day and now at 18 weeks I feel him everyday usually around the same time. Its awesome!! I never felt the butterflies, only little pokes or pops.

    see ive felt pokes too but i thought for sure those couldnt be the baby at only 16 weeks. i cant wait as the next couple weeks come and it becomes regular then ill kno for sure

    I've felt butterflies a couple of times but can't be at all sure that it was him.  Then last night I felt sort of a thump from inside.  I'm still not at all sure it was the baby, but I've never felt anything quite like that before.  I'm looking forward to knowing for sure and having it happen more often.  It was definitely unnerving!  Good luck to your little kicker.

    I felt flutters around 14 weeks, but didnt get weak kicks until around 17-18 weeks... I think its quite possible your feeling baby... Big Smile

    I'm due the same day as you and for the past couple of night I have been feeling weird flutters on my left side but only when I'm laying down to go to bed. I thought it was gas or my stomach rumbling but then I felt it again at the same time my stomach was making noise. I also felt pain on my left side at the same time. I think its the baby but not sure.

    could be movement I started feeling movement at 14-15 weeks...

    I would say if you are feeling it pretty low, then it's the baby. :)

    I felt baby at 14w5d.  The nurse thought I was nuts.  But I also saw my tummy move exactly at 19 weeks, so did DH.  It was consistantly around the same time and same location.  It felt like little gas pops.

    yup mines just like that. it feels like it youd have your finger in your belly and poked yourself from the inside. if that makes sense
