Steve spoke to his brother yesterday (father of 2 under 2) and apparently he had looked at our amazon.com registry. He advised Steve that we shouldn't get an expensive stroller because "the kid is just going to poop on it".
Whaaaaat???
I'm aware that babies poop and sometimes it gets on whatever they are sitting on, however:
1. Quality construction, wheels, shock absorption, and durability are the reasons I'm choosing this stroller. I'm not going to get a piece of crap (pun intended) stroller because I'm afraid of getting a little poop on it.
2. I've used strollers upwards of 100 times in my life and have not once dealt with poop on a stroller
3. Chances are, a nice stroller will have fabric that can handle clean up.
Such a random thing for him to say! I understand that our stroller choice is different than theirs, but so is our environment and our intended use.
Sorry BIL, your poop argument does not sway me!
