? from 3rd tri - diarrhea

Hi there! I have been having diarrhea the last 3 days, and when I talked to my OB about it on Thursday she said it may be early labor and I've read that, too.  My whole pregnancy, I've been constipated with no diarrhea - I've gone maybe once a week, so this is not normal!

I know this is not THE sign of labor, but did any of you experience diarrhea soon before labor?

    I just had the same thing and was wondering how soon after labor started, lol!

    I had diarrhea the whole week before my LO was born. I was only at 36 weeks so I didnt think much of it, but my water broke exactly a week after the diarrrhea started. I'd watch out for other signs too though, like pelvic pressure (which I had a ton of). Good luck!

    Yes - I had diarrhea all night on a Friday and Saturday I slept in while DH took care of our DS and I got up at 8 to pee and whoosh my water brook.

    I had diarrhea 12 hrs before I had LO. I also had it when I was in early labor, like right before my contractions started and during the early stages of labor. Having contractions and poop cramps at the same time are NOT fun!! Hope for your sake it is a sign of labor... I"m sure your ready for your LO to come out!! GL!

    I had it all day and water broke @ 9:30pm. 37 weeks and 6 days.
