how do you warm your baby's food?

other than in the microwave.

the double pot thing with water in one and the food in the other takes forever. maybe i just need to start getting it ready sooner!?! 

whats funny is that i had no clue you should even warm their food and now that i have been he eats EVERYTHING!

    I have no idea. I've never warmed her baby food or her bottles. Her bottles are room temperature (infant water from the jug) and her baby food is either room temp from the pantry or cold from the fridge if we're finishing something up. I had never thought of warming the food actually.

    DD eats her food at room temp.  Are you talking about jarred baby food or fresh food out of the fridge?

    We have never warmed DD's bottles or solids before either. Room temp or cold works for her! I actually wonder when I should start warming up her food, since we are working on finger foods now. She might not even like warm food!

    i make all his food so they are frozen and then in the morning i take out the food he'll eat that night and at night i take out food he'll eat the next morning but its always really cold from being in the fridge and i've discovered after making him some peas fresh right before he ate [so they were warm] that he really likes his food warmed up a little. and a week or so ago he tried green beans and totally gagged but i warmed them up and he loved them! so i guess im glad to hear you all dont really warm your baby's food either because i thought i'd totally missed that mom memo!

    My bottle warmer has a lift out basket that allows you to put baby jars into it.  Even when I make DD's food, I put it into baby jars so I can warm it up.  DD seems to like it better.4

    We just do room temp. I find this is easier when we are out she isn't use to it being warmer than room temp.

    We usually feed at room temp. If its cold or frozen I put it in a bowl in another bowl of warm water.

    I usually do cold or room temp, but I'll occasionally microwave something to heat it up.

    Why are you opposed to the microwave?  You have to be sure to stir it well to avoid hot spots, but other than that, it's super convenient. 

    But, I'm a heathen.  I microwave breastmilk also.
