Hellllllo, my friends, and Happy Spring, a day early.

Today I'm serving summery drinks. Can you hear the ice tinkling in the glasses? (unless you like your ice crushed. I can do that!)

I'm having a Rum Runner, light on the rum, heavy on the fruit juice.

What'll you have?

I'm craving onion rings - battered. Mmm! So we've got those, but really, we've got everything.

On the juke: Workin' for the Weekend by Loverboy. Because I need inspiration to finish my work so I can start my play!

Price of drink question: What was the best vacation you ever took? Where are you dying to go?

Me: Three weeks in Hawaii for our honeymoon. Close second: Cuba with two girlfriends. (We were all journalists at the time and could go legally). Dying to go: Puerto Rico - we keep planning it, and life keeps interfering! And Italy.

Yay rooftop deck! I'm feeling like over-cooked crap (not all m/s; I now think that I'm coming down with something), so I think maybe a screwdriver for me. Gotta get that vitamin c in, y'know! Wink

Best vacation ever...3 weeks in South America during Christmas/NYE. We spent a few days in the Chilean wine country; then went to Buenos Aires for about a week over Christmas; and then went to Punta del Este in Uruguay for a week over NYE. It was AWESOME!!

Where am I dying to go? Right now it's a toss up between Eastern Europe (Prague, Budapest, Odessa, St. Petersburg, Moscow are at the top of my list) and Thailand and/or Vietnam.

Whoa, you guys have a hot tub too??? Awesome, okay I am sitting in the hot tub, because it has been a rough week. HMMMM I am not much of a fruity drinker, so if you don't have any beer, then i will take an ice pick (that is sweet tea with some vodka, and an orange slice).

Best Vacation Ever: Okay it was not the "best" but it was really good. DH and I were dating about 1 year, we went to Cancun in Oct 2005, we were suppose to stay Mon-Sat, well Hurricane Wilma decided to hit on Thur, and we spent 6 nights in a shelter, sleeping on a floor, before they moved to us a resort for 3 nighst, with no hot water, in hindsight, it was the best vacation. You never know someone until you have been the a catrosphic event together.

Where do I want to go: I was born in England (Air Force brat) and I would love go back to England and visit Europe, not really picky where in Europe!!!

Think I'm going with the mojito on this lovely spring day. In fact, our virtual bar has made me really want one, so tonight I am going to make something yummy!

Best vacation: safari in Tanzania or Egypt. I've always wanted to go to Spain/Portugal and Japan, so those are next on my list!

I'll be in the hot tub soaking a sore back - hope it's really hot.

Best vacation: Let me think. Ok, a week in Mammoth, CA during opening week. It was nice to relax and do some touristy stuff while there. Of course the skiing was very nice too. It was the first time we'd spent any time away from DD.

I am dying to go to Ireland, England or Italy. I'd love to see the home of my ancestors.

Best vacation was touring around Europe (I was stationed there in the Army); my family came over for 3 weeks and we spent it going everywhere! Prague; France; Amsterdam; all over Germany...just to name a few.

I'm having a REALLY bad day so PLEASE pass a pitcher of mango margaritas. A friend found a lump in her breast, mice at the office, its snowing like a SOB, and the worst news my AFP came back high.

Bartender better make that 2 pitchers.

Best vacation - St. Lucia for our honeymoon and I would love to go to Paris my BFF lives there now and I've never been.

I may be MIA lately, but I will always come running for one of Joyful's Margaritas on the rocks with salt!

Best vaca- 2 week honeymoon in Hawaii. It was so beautiful and relaxing and met a lot of great people. (DH's high school friend is a school teacher there so he took us to a lot of off-beat, "local only" types of places.)

Dream vaca- one of those over-the-water huts in Bora Bora. Maybe one day...**sigh**

Best vacay - I loved going to Spain when I was in college. It was technically a lot longer than a vacation, but the whole thing was fun.

Happy Spring!

I will have one of those rum punches from the Moondance Cliffs Resort in Negril, Jamaica. If you are out of those, then Stoli Orange Vodka and cranberry w/ lime wedge would be great.

I am craving Cadberry Mini Eggs (only around at Easter, thank God!)

Best vacation ever was a week in the Florida Keys. Because, I have been with my DH since we were 19 and it was the first vacation that we could actually spend some money. Also, I got to swim with some dolphins.

Dying to go to the resort from the movie "Couples Retreat." I think it was in French Polynesia or something, but I want to see fish in the floor of my bathroom and dive from my living room into the ocean!

Happy weekend!!!

I'm feeling the tropical vibe, so I'd like a Malibu Rum and pineapple juice.

My favorite vacation was our honeymoon; Maui and Kauaii for 2 weeks.

The onion rings sound fabulous, I really wish I had some IRL. I'll try not to get crumbs in the hot-tub.

I've wanted to go to Ireland for a long time now. Hopefully my dream will come true in the next few years.

Can I join and catch up?!?

DH is in Texas and we had about 7 inches of water in our basement - I had to buy a sump pump and it has been working sporadically for the past few days/nights. . . I REALLY need a drink!

I would like a madras with a slice of orange.

This past year we had a chance to go to Hawaii and New Zealand. I loved them both.

I would love to go back to Italy. It was beautiful when my friend and I backpacked there for a couple of weeks, but I would love to go back and eat at some great restaurants. . .

Best vacation: Really the first 2 days of my honeymoon at Disney. Best two days ever spent away. DH and I were so ready to decompress after all the hype. We truly melted into one another. Great honeymoon!

First, Sadie, big, big hugs to you. And an extra round of drinks! What a day! Please update us on your friend. I found a lump in my breast, and it was terrifying. But it turned out to be nothing. This is the most common result and I hope it is so for your friend. (((hugs)))

You girls are making me jealous with all of those fabulous vacations! The Bump should give away a trip.

And I'm still laughing over "trying not to get crumbs in the hot tub".
