When did your LO start crawling?

I mean really crawling... I was reading a post that made me think of this so I looked it up. It says typically its around 9 months old. I can't remember off hand how old DS1 was, but DS2 had mastered it a couple weeks ago. Right at 7 months. Of course I know that all babies are different so that is why I was wondering if the "average" was the average here.

2 days ago, so almost 9 mo. It seemed late compared to other Bump babies (and my IRL friends babies) but I know its the average. She was army crawling and crawling backwards for a month before she started going forward on all fours.

If I remember correctly he was army crawling around 7-8 months and then on all fours a couple of weeks ago. (right before 11months)

He's been crawling backwards since just after 8 months. I'm still waiting for him to start going forward! Any day now I think!

We arent even close. She rolls wherever she wants to go. I keep trying to put her up on her knees, and she can put herself on her knees, but thats it.

She started crawling shortly after she turned 6 months old. Now she is taking her first steps. She took 3 steps today.

DD is a motor kiddo so we started army crawling since 4 months, 4 point crawled at 4.5 months, took her first steps at 8.5 months, and been walking all around the house since 9-9.5 months. but we dont do a lot of talking yet.

6.5 months (actually 6month 1week 2days, but he had been scooting around since before turning 6 months).

Mine hasn't yet--it's hard to know what is average because crawling isn't even considered a milestone anymore because some babies skip it and go straight to walking.
