It seems immature to me. I mean IMO if you aren't AGAINST marriage, then why would you TTC before you were married? Again, unless you are against the union entirely, in which case you would obviously TTC unwed.

If you are 'in love' enough to TTC and have no issues with marriage, then you are 'in love' enough to commit yourselves on paper.

ETA: though I have known some friend who were engaged and past the prim child bearing age who started TTC before the wedding. So I get that too. To each their own I suppose. I don't know what situation others are in.

Im going to have to completely agree with J on this one. I know there are also some girls here that arent married but are very comitted and are TTC. To say that they have to be married to have a child is just silly in this day and age.

Agreed. Although TTC before marriage was not an option for me, I don't know (nor am I in) the situation of a couple who would decide to TTC before marriage and what their reasoning is. In fact, I know some couples IRL that are TTC and the fact that they are unhappily married makes me worry about how they will handle having a child. Although, that is not my place to say anything about either.

Again, to each their own, I don't see a problem with TTC out of marriage assuming the couple has issues with marriage. It's definitely not a prerequisite for for having a child. My thoughts are simply, if you have no issues with marriage, why wouldn't you want to have that legal commitment before TTC? BUT that's just my opinion and I understand that not everyone feels that way.

I'm speaking more about people like my idiot cousin who is trying to KU his 17 year old GF but doesn't want to marry her because he only wants the kid that he can't afford.

Each situation is different, so like I said, to each their own.

No, it's still 2010. It makes more sense to me the scenarios jluvsr mentioned above. They met at 24 and got married at 26. I personally don't care what their situation is, it's just something that jumped out at me, that's all.

OP, this was my first month on clomid and I had no side effects. Of course, everybody's experience is different.

I also think you should copyright "for da extra boost" and get Clomid to use it as its marketing slogan. It really is brilliant.

Well I see nothing wrong with it. We are because pregnancy as you should also know doesn't always happen the first time. Even if we do conceive quickly I wouldn't be showing on our wedding. We are happy with our decision. Like you said to each their own.

I don't take the first dose for another two days and was just looking for some support. I was not looking for downgrading remarks. Thought this was a board where we could just express ourselves and look for some support from others going through the same thing.
