Parenting after a Loss

Sometimes I don't want DD to grow up!

Today we took our 1st graders to a play at the high school. I was watching these high school students and thinking one day Cora will be that age. It's crazy to think they were all babies and now they are teens! I love the age Cora is at. I love all the cuddles, smiles and fun. It's just so crazy how fast time flies.

  • Definitely have to enjoy every moment with them while they are little and not take any of it for granted!

  • P.S. I'm not so excited about having a moody teenage daughter with boys who want to date her, glad we have a while before we have to worry about that!
  • I know, and I actually can't imagine my Cora any other age, even previous ages.  It's like who she is right now is who she will always be and who she always was.  It's weird!!!!
