spotting with lower back pain at 7 weeks

I am 7w 1d and just noticed a very light link spotting when I wiped. I also have some lower back pain/pressure and mild cramping on and off. I had an ultrasound three days ago, at 6w 5d, saw the baby, yolk sac and a heart rate of 125 bpm. Doctor said everything looks good, but I am scared about the lower back pressure and spotting. I also spotted very light at 4 weeks right around when I was supposed to get my period. The doctor said that must have been an implantation bleeding and that it was normal for some women to spot, but for peace of mind she put me on prometrium (progesteron supplment). Has anyone else been having similar symptoms right around 7 weeks?? I am really scared since it's happening the second time already since I got pregnant, and the back pressure is new. Please respond... thank you.

    Hi. I just got back from the ER for spotting/back pain actually. I had an ultrasound, and all was well. I have bled through all of my pregnancies. Sometimes spotting, sometimes full out bleeding. It is scary, and not totally common, but does not always mean bad things. All you can do at this point is keep an eye on it. If it is bright red, or getting heavier, I would call your OB, but other than that try to have a positive outlook, and breathe!

    Call your OB.  I disagree with PP that you should wait until it gets heavy.  I hope everything is okay.  {{hugs}}
