Success after IF

What do you think the hardest age has been thus far?

I think that 8-12 months, when she was crawling and rolling around and getting into everything was definitely the hardest so far.  She still gets into things, but understands after I tell her not to and most of the time listens lol. What has been the hardest age for you?

  • So far, age 12.  Was not prepared for puberty (the boobs or the sassy 'tude) not at all.
  • Loading the player...
  • birth-4 months.... I dont do well on little sleep and having little sleep x2 plus an infected csection was not fun.

  • The newborn 0-3 was the hardest for us.  She is easier now but this crawling business is getting tough ; )

  • I'd say 12-15 months when DD was pulling up and just starting to walk and crashing and burning all the time.   Also, the not being able to communicate really yet was frustrating for her and me.

Of course, now she is showing signs of the terrible 2's, so ask me again in a few weeks!

  • Three.  Three.  Three.  Sigh.  Three.
  • Hands down was 0-4 months both times. I think my hormones, the lack of sleep, and constant crying (of both the babies and me) just about did me in. I can handle the toddler stuff, it is the newborn stuff I find hard.
  • 0-3 months.  I hated the newborn stage.
  • I'm going to say 3-6 months.  Because I always heard that 0-3 were so hard, I expected it to be bad.  But I thought things would get better by 3 months and it didn't!  :)

This.  I had to have a nurse come and take care of my csection til about 9 weeks, Katie was NEVER happy, wouldn't sleep and I had PPD.

    I LOVE this age :)

The crawling getting into everything stage we are at now is hard in a differetn way. They are so fun and have such little personalites now , it makes now hard, but more frustrating that are getting into so much mischeif but are so darn cute abou tdoing it!

  • 0-3 was tough. No sleep did not do well for me. If I could birth a 3 month old, I probably would. The crawling stage is tough because he gets into everything but it is fun since he has a personality.

  • 0-6 was my favorite age!  I loved it!  I didn't mind the sleep deprivation ... I just loved the whole newness of it all ... both times.
  • Newborn for me. James just did not sleep much. He'd be up for 8 hours at a time sometimes. I felt like a walking zombie.

  • 4-8 months because that was when the sleep deprivation got worse not better. The again on day 3 where I thought he would die if I didn't watch him sleep, well, that was really hard too.

Yeah, I will just cover all of that and say 0-6 months.

  • I'm kind of thinking that 12-14 months has been pretty hard. Bennett is into everything and has been very clingy. He wants me to be with him or holding him almost all the time, which makes getting anything else done almost impossible. He is really testing his boundaries right now and I feel like I can't take my eyes off of him. I can only imagine what it'll be like this summer at my mom's pool!

  • 3.  It makes all the baby stages seem like a piece of cake.
  • cmw&tdm - I totally agree.  I think that's why I have fantasies about how great 0-6 was.  LOL!
  • 0-6 mo.  Oh the colic (which lasted to 5 months for us).
