not age-appropriate?

Just chatting with DH and talking about how I really want to get back in shape.  I've been pregnant and/or nursing since March 2007 and once I wean the twins (no plans on it for 8-10 months) I want to set a body goal.  Not a number on the scale, but something... he commented on a pic he came across from a trip we took a few months before our wedding (eek-30 or 40 lbs ago!!) and he said I should shoot for the bikini.  But I'm 34. SHould bikinis be reserved for the teens and 20 somethings?

    I think that there are some tasteful bikinis out there that would be appropriate for our age bracket (I'm 33) as long as your body is bikini fit.

    No way! I see OLD people in binkinis and I don't judge them if they look half decent.  I would be in one if I lost another 15lbs. I'm 27 though. ; )

    I think Never.  String bikini-maybe inappropriate once you're an real grown-up, but otherwise, as long as it's not vulgar, ROCK it!

    agree with pp.  string bikinis have a much shorter shelf life.  But reagular bikinis - I think you'd have to be like 65 for me to give you the side eye

    Helen Mirren rocked the bikini at 63 and looked fantastic.  I wished I looked as good as she does!!!
