36 wks and she turned AGAIN!

So I posted last week that Baby B (girl) moved from head down to breech at 35 weeks! At last measurement she was 5 lbs as was her brother! I spent this past weekend doing multiple stretching/yoga excercises to at least say that I tried to get her to turn back.

At my appointment yesterday she is back to being head down (WOOHOOO), I don't know if it was the stretching/yoga poses or not but it still just amazes me that a 5+lb baby can flip while sharing a small space with another 5 lb baby!!!!

I go back next week and hopefully schedule my induction if I haven't gone into labor!

  • Great news!  I hope she stays head down for you.

Both my A and B have been moving back and forth for 4 weeks now (on Friday, A was breech even though he was vertex the week before and B was also in the opposite position from the week before).  I totally agree with you, it is difficult to comprehend how two 5+ lb babies can flip this late in the game.  interestingly, my Dr. said baby Bs are usually more likely to move around until the very end -- I guess they are not as wedged into the pelvis as Baby As.  Will your Dr. deliver vaginally if B is breech?

  • Same here, I had a BPP last Thurs and they were both head down.  I had a repeat BPP on Sunday and they completely switched sides and baby B was breech.  The tech said that hardley ever happens this far along :)
  • Ooh, I hope she stays put! My Baby B flipped between breech and vertex 5 times between 31w and delivery!

  • congrats on your little flipper.

you guys are giving me some hope...although baby b has been head down this whole time and it's baby a who is comfy in the ass first position. i hope that kid turns around but the baby is very low in my pelvis and i just don't have high hopes that there will be any flipping in the next few weeks. if baby a turns it around i will be very pleasantly surprised.
