Baby dust to all!

I wanted to write all of you on the TTC Board. I have lurked here and been helped by so many of you. I wanted to say good luck and baby dust to all of you. You have blessed me with support and great information.

After 7 years of trying to have a baby my husband and I are 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Keep your hopes up and you all are in my prayers.

OCEAN!!! I was just reading your post, I wish I could have helped but I got confused. lol

I lurk much later in the day, can't really bump since I have co-workers close by and no one knows I am TTC. I will be on more after they figure it out I guess. I am okay, just taking relaxing on my break. Debating adding another month or two due to vacations.

How have you been doing?

You should build a fort around your desk so only those with the password can see what you are doing!

I'm sorry you have to take this break, but hopefully you can get some nice vacations out of it! Where you thinking of going? Hopefully the break will knock your body into shape and soothe your mind, making you ready for trying -- with success this time!

I'm just finishing my first IUI cycle, if you got that. Frustrated that if it didn't work now then why would it ever? Just not 100% ready to tackle IVF yet, though. I already get enough s/e with Clomid and Prometrium.

The lady next to me has to either scoot the chair away from her desk a little or lean back to look at my screen. She chooses to lean back and comment on what's cute on the screen. It could be my background pic or me looking at clothes.

One weekend of June I am going to Disneyland with M. Another time in June is Vegas with the girls and Disneyworld with the family in July. I am nervous about doing rollercoasters and drinking while possibly being pregnant because May would start a new medicated cycle. I don't want to risk it and the funds it would cost to cancel all of those trips. So I would rather ask the RE to do another two months and be safe and get the rollercoasters out of my system. I have never been to Cali or Florida so I am excited.

Isn't IUI similar to you having sex with your DH except they are putting the sperm directly in your ute? From what I have read, you still only have a certain percentage of getting pregnant per IUI cycle. Plus that percentage doesn't go up much more than if you and DH only had sex. I can understand being frustrated, give it a couple more chances at least before moving onto IVF. Just from lurking around, I have seen plenty of success with IUIs after the 1st round.

Holy cow, you are jet-setting all across the country, aren't you? So cool! I haven't been in to either Disney, just drove around the one in Orlando -- It's like a little city! And lots, lots to do around there. Have so much fun! And can I go to Vegas with you?!

Yeah, I know IUI still has the same chances, no guarantee -- but I thought it was the push we needed to get the few good morph swimmers a better chance, and bypassing my complete lack of anything close to EWCM. I know we still can have a chance with another IUI, but for some reason I had zero hope this cycle and probably won't have any next cycle, either.

Tis the way the cookie crumbles, I guess. And you should look at some really creepy stuff so c/w stops leaning back to see what you're doing!
