DD had her 6 month vaccinations yesterday, and her reaction during the day was the same as for the 2 and 4 month vaccinations (sleep and need for tylenol). Last night was an entirely different story from the previous vaccinations, though; she was awake every 1-2 hours, which is not normal at the point for her. Did anyone else have this? Please tell me it will go away - DH and I were at our wits end last night, and I ended up sleeping in the glider with DD so she would sleep longer!
Re: 6 month vaccines ----> no sleep?
I'm not sure I have anything helpful to say, other than over time you'll find that your DD responds a little differently to things like shots each time it happens. I wouldn't worry that the night time frequent waking thing is a pattern until it lasts for several days. I know it's no fun, but my guess is that it was probably an anomaly and not a brand new pattern of behavior--I would suggest just going through your regular bedtime routine tonight and see what happens.
