Brazilian Bikini Wax - embarrassing question

I'd really like to get a brazilian bikini wax this week or next.  I've had regular bikini waxes but not in awhile.  How embarrassing are the positions you have to get into for this?  Up on all 4's? 

And this is the embarrassing part - with the increase of vaginal secretions that most of us are experiencing in our 3rd trimester, is this a problem while getting waxed?  Of course I would shower right before I go for my appointment, but I'm afraid......

    I get them all the time and the positions are not that bad.  Get a recommendation from someone you know if possible - I think a good person doing it makes all the difference in the world!  I've been afraid to get one the past few months though - just worried about increased pain due to sensitivity - lol.  Good luck!

    I've gotten Brazillians in the past and it really just depends on the waxer...some will ask you to get on all 4's but most will not. And if you're not comfortable with it, just say that you'd prefer not to - they won't care!

    As for the increased fluids, I wouldn't worry about it too much. They see EVERYTHING during a Brazillian and I doubt they'd care.

    I love my wax technician. She's been waxing me forever and I'm so comfortable with her. She's seen it all -- ingrown hairs, discharge, hemis, you name it! As long as you're clean it shouldn't even be an issue.

    I would just bring some wet wipes and use the restroom right before you go into the wax room.

    Your technician will help you figure out what positions will work best for her to get in there and do the deed. :-)

    Mostly, you can be just how you are for a bikini wax. The last time I went in, we went for the "turtle on it's back" routine for the rest of it. I pulled my knees way up to my chest so she could do my bottom. Good times!

    I love my wax lady - I've been going to her for a few years now. I've never had to get in the all 4's position while pregnant. Actually, I just sit up slightly, propped on pillows and she does her thing. Then I lay on either side so she can get the back. And I wouldn't worry too much about excess discharge etc. Like PPs said, they've seen IT ALL. I don't think it shocks them much anymore. I do what PP said, bring a wipe and use the bathroom before I go in since I usually go afer work or during my lunch break so I can't shower rightr beforehand.

    I've been getting waxed for over 3 years and have been to 3 different estheticians and have never had to get up on all fours. The new place I go to they give you a moist wipe to use while you get undressed and before they start the wax. I think this is great. Usually they have me lay down and put one leg straight and the other one bent (to look like a #4) then you switch. It's not all that bad.

    I went on Friday at 36 weeks and I was fine but I've been doing this for years. I am never expected to get on all fours, we just turn me from side to side and do a little leg lifting here and there to get in, that's pretty much all. My poor lady must have been terrified with this huge ball in her face! I came home and noticed a several random patches. It's ok, I felt so bad poor thing!
