A friend of mine asks me every couple of months "when are you going to decide to have a baby?" This is the same friend that I've been telling for years how much we wanted a baby but were waiting until we got married. And that we were going to start ttc IMMEDIATELY after the wedding. Literally joked with about "after the ceremony". So why do you feel the need to act as if you have no idea we are trying??
And I also get from my family, "You need to hurry up and have a baby." REALLY!? Ya think?? Let me get right on that FOR YOU.
People who don't know we are TTC, who tell me that we are "selfish for not having kids". Pretty much indicting that I am living the high life with no room for kids because I cannot be bothered with them.
If they only knew...
Wow, and imo, that type of statement makes them arseholes.
I hate when people ask, "So when are you guys going to start trying?" None of your business!
This!!!!
This time a million!!
A lot of our friends either already have children or have announced that they are trying. DH and I have been trying for awhile and have obviously not been successful. Do I feel comfortable sharing any of that? NO, so I am always mumbling something about oh, maybe one day and trying to change the subject.
I know someone that always says - "Just spit on me and I get pregnant" ALL the time. It really irks me. Apparently she has been pregnant 5 times but only has 1 child. Umm..ever hear of fvcking birth control? Okay I might be a little bitter over this. LOL
This is also the person that tells me - "Just get drunk and you'll get pregnant. That's how every one else does it!" Oh really?? I thought they got pregnant from having sex during they're fertile time. Apparently I am the one who is an Idiot.
I guess she feels like since I don't really drink that this is most likely the problem I haven't gotten pregnant "right away"
Arggg!

Re: Things you are sick of hearing....
Oh, my favorite is from my mother...
"You aren't getting any younger, you know"
Thanks mom! Because I really need you reminding me about my biological clock every time we see each other.
