Made a trip to L&D today...

During my normal ob appt today LO's heart rate stayed between 180 & 200 for 45 minutes. The dr got extremely worried & sent me straight to the hospital for fluids because he thought since I hadn't felt sick that I might be dehydrated. As soon as they put me on the monitor at L&D her heart rate was fine & stayed that way for 4 hours. I was really hoping to stay & have a baby today : ( Guess LO just wanted us to have a practice run since I'm being induced in 10 days.

Every time I'm on the monitor (which is twice a week) I have super regular contractions, but they are not doing anything. Anyone else having this issue or have any insight on it?

    I was in L&D on Sunday night and I was contracting every 7 minutes with no progress. LO was laying transverse though. I went in today to see my doctor, baby has flipped head down, and I have progressed from 2cm to 3cm, still 50% effaced. I was really surprised that not only had LO flipped but that I had progressed another cm with consistant but non-increasing contractions when nothing had happened while I was on the monitors. I have no insight, just thanking my lucky stars I had progressed at all!

    Yup super regular contractions here and last week I was barely 1 cm...and I had 9 hours of intense contractions 2 minutes apart a little over a week ago when they tried to induce me but nothing happen...I have one stubborn little girl

    That is so crazy! I'm glad to hear I'm not alone. GL to you, hopes she finally decides to come!
