The funny part about today...

I got my puppy today! So here is too training a puppy. I just thought that was too funny though.

    What???!!!!  You aren't letting that puppy outside or out of your sight for a second are you?  Let it eat at the table, join you in the tub, lay on your head at night, and wear your clothes!  If not X might steal it!  We can all learn a good lesson about being a responsible pet owner from my poor example.

    I draw the line at driving my car.  My dog asked and I told her she was too young.

    I keep an inch and a half guardrail nut on a loop of 550 cord. It's not whiz-bang tactical, but one smack in the grape and it's coloring books for Christmas.

    This.  It's cruel and unusual punishment to members of your family.  Wonder what they think of me letting DS teeth on the open whiskey bottle?? Wink

    lol... oh my ladies! Actually I got it from my dads. His dog had puppies. So I took one. I know it is my own father, but they really aren't taking care of them and they are just stuck in the basement. I'm afraid they aren't feeding them like they should and haven't been given their shots or anything. It's really sad so if anyone would like a puppy let me know. I have been trying to find homes for them. They are weimaraner and lab mix. I took the only gray one and the rest are black.

    :(  That's sad about the dogs.  Is there any way you can convince them to spay/neuter?  Lots of places have low cost options if money is the issue.

    In reality, that is very sad :o( I'd love a pup but I am not in the right place to get one right now.  Maybe placing adds locally and trying to find them good foster type homes until you find permanent places for them.

    actually, letting your dogs breed is irresponsible as a pet owner, although I don't think anyone would say it is her job to make sure her dad is responsible in this case. So, really, you should probably use less sarcasm on that.

    And how can she properly evaluate a foster or permanent home. These pups should be taken to a reputable pet rescue.

    There is no way! They wouldn't spend money on them. It is really sad. I would also like to add that the weimaraner was my dog when I lived at home before ex and I moved in together. She is a wonderful dog and I was protective of her. I didn't want her running around outside and stuff (grew up on a huge farm). She was really sad though it made her day for me to let her out and run around for a while. Now I have had a min pin for a couple years. There is no way I would let him run around outside and he wouldn't like it either. He is my lap dog and the biggest baby! I just wanted to say some dogs really want to be able to run around and it's not always a bad situation. I don't want to start anything and I haven't really commented today because of it. I really hope you all can understand what I mean. I'm getting of here for the night so feel free to flame. I won't see it till tomorrow.

    Yeah had to run out and grab some kitty condoms just in case he forgot to pull out and we had kitpups again.  I wouldn't want to be an irresponsible pet owner you know.
