Newbie needs obgyn recs

Good afternoon Ladies:

Can you please recommend your obgyn in the Alpharetta area? I am looking for dr that delivers at Northside Forsyth or Emory Johns Creek. Unfortunately,  I am not too impressed with my current dr.

TIA!

  • Sorry, I don't think my OB delivers at either of those hospitals.  I just wanted to say welcome to the board!

  • The practice I go to is located at GA 400 and Old Milton Pkwy.  They deliver at Northside Atlanta and Northside Forsyth.  I see Dr. Nezhat and love her  and  the practice as several good OBs.

  • Hi,

I am not sure if they have an office in Alpharetta but I know they deliver at both hospitals - OBGYN of Atlanta. I have seen a bunch of doctors (love Dr. Henke and Bassil) and have been very happy with the Drs. and the staff.

  • Thank you so much for the recs and the welcome! :)
  • I go to Peachtree Women's Clinic in Cumming, but they have offices in Alpharetta and Sandy Springs I think.  I have been happy so far!
  • This dr didn't deliver my son but I saw her many times during my pregnancy and she just delivered my friend's baby. Her name is Courtney Middleton. She is with Peachtree Women's Clinic. She delivers at NSide Forsyth.

  • I go to Alliance OB/GYN on Old Milton Parkway and think they are great!  I believe they deliver at Northside Forsyth, at least I know they have privileges there.

  • I delivered at Emory Johns Creek and it was super nice! My dr was Dr.Chua with Suburban Womens. However, I plan to go with Diane Tandy next time I am pregnant. I have a friend who drives from Woodstock to go to her. I have heard nothing but great things about her! Her website is www.giftsfromgrace.com I think and her practice is the offices connected to the hospital.

  • Hey,

Like another poster, I see Suburban Womens Specialists--there are two physicians and a nurse practitioner there. I primarily see Dr. Anthony, but I have seen Dr. Chua, and both managed my care during my high-risk pregnancy. They were both great doctors, and I really feel good about them. (Deb, the nurse practitioner, is also very good.)

The biggest advantage is they are right next door to Emory Johns Creek Hospital. I spent a week there on bedrest in L&D and then delivered there, too. There's a level 3 NICU just in case. Everyone there in L&D and the NICU are awesome. I had a wonderful experience there.

    Good luck!
