I used wholesomebabyfood as a guide to know when to intruduce things but you don't really need a cookbook. Just... pick a fruit or veggie, steam/bake it, and puree it. No recipe needed.

Super Baby Food is the BEST BOOK to start with! Even if you don't follow it to a T - it has WONDERFUL information, a GREAT reference section, and lots of ways to save money on other household items, too (making your own things.)
I love Super Baby Food. When DD became a picky toddler, I started making more recipes from Deceptively Delicious. These recipes are yummy for adults, too.
