Okay, this looks like exactly what we need since I don't think I'm getting my crossed straps in the right position when I'm doing a RTIF.
I've watched youtube videos and the one thing I can't figure out is ... when you're wrapping the tails around the back & bum (the "reinforced" part) do you need to make the bottom rail from the pocket the top rail of the reinforced cross? I've seen them make the shoulder sandwich, but can't tell if they're putting a full twist in it or not.
Does that question even make sense?
Re: s/o below: Reinforced Ruck carry
Haha, it makes sense to me. And I'm so not a word problem person. But I think the answer is no. Or rather, that's not how I do it. I work really hard to keep my rails in the right position (top on top and bottom on bottom) even in a kangaroo carry where you're "supposed" to flip the shoulder. But I also have a couple of wraps that have different colored rails so that helps a lot. Neobulle wraps have different colored rails - maybe you could do a youtube search for a reinforced ruck with a NB wrap and see if you could figure out if they are flipping?
stupid youtube says no results. booo.
but i'm glad you understood what i was asking

I don't think that it matters in terms of support - aesthetically maybe depending on the wrap ;-)
I twist my shoulders and just do it as much as seems comfortable.
