Which breast pump do you recommend?

Which breast pump do you recommend? Some of my friends tried a couple and hated theirs. Before I go and buy one, I would like to get some ideas from you ladies. Thanks! Wink

    It depends on how you will be using it. I have the medela swing and like it but only pump once a day. If you will be going back to work and are planning on pumping, you may need a 'fancier' one

    I have the Lansinoh double electric pump. I pump about 5 times a day, and so far I've been happy with the pump. It's getting the milk out just fine & I don't find it to be uncomfortable.

    I pump during the day and a few times at night (I FF at night) and I'm in LOVE with my Medela PIS Advance. I even have it hooked on a nursing bra so it can be handsfree if I need it to be. It comes with bottles (love them) and a battery pack so I can pump anywhere I need to. Love, Love, Love, it!

    I have the Lansinoh double electric and it works great for me.  I want to get the Medela frees style to be more hands free and able to do chores while pumping ( I exclusively pump).

    I second this! I burnt the motor out on the swing bc I was using it 4+times a day. I now have a Medela Pump in Style Advance that I love, and it gets way more milk out of me too. Plus it is a double pump....a necessity to save time if you will be pumping at work like me! Good luck!

    This Yes  My pump is sitting right at my feet at work...look's just like a black purse, you can't even tell it's a breast pump. It works great.

    I have the Medela Freestyle and I love it.  It's small, it's battery-operated (so I can get up and move around if I need to while I'm pumping), and it works fast. 

    I bought mine from www.bestbuybaby.com for $265, which included shipping. 

    Whichever pump you get, if you're planning on pumping a lot or when you go back to work, I recommend the Easy Expressions pumping bra.  I haven't even tried the Freestyle attachments b/c I already had the bra and it's so easy.

    I have the Ameda Purely Yours Ultra.  The nice thing about this pump is the tube is a closed system so you don't need to clean the tubing.
