I have been using garnier nutrioniste and I just googled to make sure that the ingredients are ok and I found tons of information about avobenzone and how it should not be used while pregnant. I swear that everytime I look something up to make sure it is safe, there are 1000's of sites saying that it is not.

I know what you mean. There's a lot of info out there on stuff not to do or use while pregnant. I plan on asking OB what is safe to use when the summer gets closer. I was thinking of using the stuff for babies but I have no idea. Honestly, I would assume what you're using is fine. But it can't hurt to ask the doctor if you're really concerned.
There's an interesting site out there www.cosmeticsdatabase.com that numbers a lot of products from 0-9 on safety of ingredients. I know there's controversy on this, and I'm not one to make sure that everything I buy is a "0", but I don't think it would hurt to buy products that are below a "5" when possible.
Anyway, they rate sunscreens on that site.
