So, I am getting so many hand me down items from sister in law who just had baby 6 months and is one and done, that I do not have much to register for. Of course I am doing new stroller, car seat, bottles, pump, monitor, etc... but I am looking for ideas for items you may never think to register for. For example, I just saw they have these hooks you attach to stroller to hang bags from. Any other cool ideas of something you never would have thought to put on registry?

Re: Ideas for cool things to register for that you ma not have thought of???
Hi there!
Here is a list of the things I love that I had no idea about until after I had a baby.
Aden & Anais muslin blankets (awesome for swaddling because they are huge)
Baby Legs
Trumpette Socks
Moby Wrap
Baby Hawk Carrier
Nosefrida (awesome snot sucker)
Sofie Le Giraffe
Swish Toy (Manhattan Toy)
Sesame Street Playground CD
Winkle Toy (Manhattan Toy)
A Pocket Full Of Dinosaurs
I would be careful with the stroller bag hanger. From what I have heard those can throw off the balance of the stroller and make it tilt back. I've just heard it's not the safest.
Now, I haven't gotten it yet but DH's cousin said she's getting me a mei tei carrier. She has tried several different ones and she swears by it.
Definitely this! And the Mommy Hook is awesome!
I definitely agree with the Aden & Anais muslin blankets. I don't know what we'd have done without them. I went to BRU looking for something square and larger (and found the Aden & Anais) after DS was born because most receiving blankets SUCK for swaddling.
I found the tiny diner placemat by Kiddapotamus to be great for going out to eat/traveling for when finger foods begin.
travel booster seat (we have one that folds up the size of a book and has carrying straps)
Small bowls, plates, sippy cups, little forks/spoons--stuff you'll need later on of course.
Links--toys that can double as stroller bag carriers, but LO can also use for teething and playing. The stroller swivelers we bought broke if you put too much weight on them. The links are pretty sturdy though. DS loves to wear them as bracelets or by making a crown for his head now.
More votes for Trumpette socks & Sophie the giraffe here too. Also love the lamaze soft toys like Jacques the Peacock & Freddy the Firefly.
The trumpette socks- we had sneakers for DS and ballet shoes for DD in the infant size and they grew out of them by 4 months or so (were falling off by then) and we ordered the 'toddler' size in sneakers & mary janes after that & they fit great still at 7 months- they are not toddler sized IMO (and I don't know why toddlers would be wearing socks like that anyway since they wear shoes), so you could register for both sizes. We use them pretty much every day b/c they're so cute and they stay on better than a lot of socks.
Another thing I found super helpful & got after the fact when I kept 'losing' clothes in the closet & finding them when they were too small & could'nt be worn anymore are those hanger things that you label with the different sizes so you can organize all your clothes.
Also love pickysticky.com stickers but I dont' know if you can really register for them
.
