LO suddenly hate baths at 9.5 months?????

Bathtime used to be DS's fave time of the day.  Now he cries, stands up, and grips my shoulders.  He won't stop crying until I take him out of the tub.  The temperature of the water is fine.  I've tried him in the infant/toddler tub and the big tub. 

 If anyone else has encountered this, what did you do?

    I don't have any tips for you, I just wanted to tell you we are going through the same thing. Out L.O is 9 months 2 weeks old, so maybe it is some kind of phase. He also screams when we change him or put him in the carseat. He used to be so easygoing, now he is getting his personality!

    Mine was afraid of the bathroom tub for a bit so we spent some time in there hanging out without water. We sang and touched the sides of the tub to make noise. The other thing that freaks her out is if it's slippery so make sure to use something that his little feet can grip.

    Thanks, ladies, for the responses.  Tonight I will skip the battle and try just playing in the dry tub with him.  Wonderful suggestion!
