Favorite muffin recipe?

I'd really like to bake some goodies for some friends of ours who are going through a tough time. I think really yummy, healthy muffins would be just the thing. Please share your fave Thanks!!

I was excited to share this recipe when I saw your title, which has been my most favorite muffin to make lately (I sometimes add blueberries and walnuts too!), but they are definitely not healthy...very yummy though!

Ooh, those sound delicious! I'm sure that if I add those healthy blueberries they'll be plenty healthy! (Besides, if they're yummy enough who really cares about the healthy anyway? lol)

Not healthy and not muffins but this is one of my new faves, praline pull-apart bread. Super easy, makes a nice presentation and delish!

Serves me right for doctoring a Smitten Kitchen recipe to try and make it "healthier". Brown sugar Splenda really doesn't cut it for these. But tried and true sugar would have made them awesome!

I love this pumpkin cream cheese muffin recipe. You can obviously make it without the cream cheese filling if you want it a bit healthier.

Okay, so I haven't made this, but it looks UH-MAY-ZING. It's not muffiny, but has some healthy substitutions and it's David Leibovitz!

These are the ones I made the other day - but I added a little more butter (2 extra tbs). They are awesome fresh... I must admit they were a few days old when you were over Embarrassed

I just make them as 12-14 muffins, bake around 16 min.

The recipe Happy10th posted is my go-to! I know it by heart...so many bananas go bad around here and they are just begging to be made into muffins.

Sometimes I use oil instead of butter. And sometimes I add cinnamon to the batter.

And sometimes, I omit the crumb top and add choc chips and walnuts - delish!

OOOh, chocolate chips would be yummy in them too. When bananas are super ripe, and I don't have time to eat them, I put them in the freezer, so usually when I make this recipe, I make it with frozen bananas, fresh blueberries and walnuts. I also make 12 muffins, not 10.
