So we had an u/s to check position today and sure enough LO is complete breach. We will be scheduling a version for two weeks from now. A couple things I learned today. According to my OB we have two things going for us. 1) Complete breach (basically sitting indian style) is better than Frank breach (butt down in V shape) for doing versions. 2) anterior placenta also a good thing (so it's not in the way).
I was glad to hear that my OB's success rate is about 2/3, but kind of suprised that this is so rare. She only does about 3 per year. Also, she does not use an epidural like many OB's will because she wants to know how I am responding. Also, u/s showed my LO is 6 lbs already! I hoped I would have a small baby since me and DH were both small, but no such luck!
I will keep you all posted on the version, if it happens, but in the meantime, send me some "flipping dust" so that this boy can get himself turned around in 2 weeks!!
Re: 35 weeks and complete breach. Scheduling version...plus he's 6 lbs!!!
I hope LO turns for you before the version so you don't need it at all! Check out spinningbabies.com, they have a lot of info on how to turn a breech baby.

And ditto to spinningbabies.com. I have heard people say moxibustion and accupuncture helped, too. Also--if you can get to a pool, try to do some flips underwater and stand upside down.
